Soma Mitra
Soma Mitra is a Los Angeles–based SAG actor. She trained for two years at the Foothill Theatre Conservatory and continued performing in community theatre before committing to acting full-time in Hollywood.
Her professional journey began in 2017, when she booked 13 Reasons Why without representation. This turning point led her to officially move to Los Angeles. For several years, she shuttled between LA and the Bay Area, where her family is based. Since then, Soma has worked extensively in television, with credits including 9-1-1: Lone Star (recurring guest star), Bosch: Legacy, Grown-ish, S.W.A.T., The Goldbergs, The Neighborhood, and The Fosters.
On the big screen, she appeared as Queen in Zack Snyder’s epic feature Rebel Moon – The Scargiver. Soma is also deeply drawn to independent filmmaking, where she often plays more complex, layered lead roles than those typically available in mainstream television. Her indie credits include The Nair House, Tether, and Lathe.
She currently has several projects in the pipeline for the upcoming year and is excited about the stories ahead.
